Large 500-person International Manufacturing Company located in Peachtree City Georgia is looking for a Materials Engineer

Job Duties

• Planning, implementing and control of the flow of goods and services from handling of raw materials to transporting finished goods
• Implement & develop factory planning for series start-ups, project expansions, transfer projects, and efficiency improvement measures (e.g., technology, methods, processes), with a strong focus on intralogistics planning.
• Define technical standardization for production resources and planning processes, prioritizing intralogistics processes and equipment.
• Manage project timelines and budget targets for assigned work packages, including the setting and monitoring of individual and departmental goals via annual appraisals.

• Associate’s degree
• 5 years working in supply chain in a plant manufacturing environment
• 2+ years experience in…
• Intralogistics, production planning, and project management.
• Automation technology & data networking within logistics processes (e.g., warehouse systems and management, transport systems, AGVs).
