What You’ll Lead

1. Instructional Coaching & Talent Development

• Co‑coach the coaches. Train and develop our three Deans so they can run rigorous coaching cycles with every teacher.
• Model excellence. Teach demonstration lessons, run live practice, and lead weekly learning walks.
• Codify greatness. Build a BA “Coaching Playbook” that translates TLAC, Get Better Faster, and Cognitive Coaching into clear tools and look‑fors.

2. Teaching & Learning Systems

• Own curriculum adoption, high‑quality assessment design, and equitable grading protocols.
• Design data dashboards that surface gaps—and sprint with teams to close them.
• Craft master schedules and PD calendars that maximize instructional minutes.

3. Network Leadership & Culture

• Serve as chief academic strategist and thought partner to the President.
• Align Ops, Student Support, and Development teams around scholar outcomes.
• Act as School Lead whenever the President is off‑site.

What Success Looks Like

• Instruction moves. 95 % of classrooms hit BA’s “effective” bar by winter; 70 % are “highly effective” by spring.
• Deans level up. Each dean demonstrates a full GROW coaching cycle with fidelity—and their teachers’ data prove its impact.
• Gaps close fast. Interim assessments show scholar growth outpacing NWEA projections in 80 % of grade–subject combos.
• Culture hums. Staff surveys reflect high trust in coaching, clarity of feedback, and belief in our BRAVE core values.
